Back in November my DP had campylobacter. He was so poorly for about 3 weeks, ended up on a course of mega strong antibiotics which got rid of it. He made a full recovery but was left with piles.
He's had some bleeding from his butt which we assumed was the piles. He's been to the doctor today to get them checked.....no piles. He's been referred for an urgent colonoscopy at the hospital, we're just waiting for the appointment letter. I'm hoping it'll be very soon. Has anyone had lasting effects of campylobacter? Google says it can linger for months, or am I right to be as worried as I am?
