Is this a migraine?

Had this happen twice before, but several months apart. I was at a training course this morning, felt fine and well, room for most of it, room wasn't overly hot.The last 10 mins I started feeling odd, came on very quickly, I felt hot and clammy, light headed and my vision went speckly and felt like it was closing in from the sides. I managed the last few minutes of the course, went to the bathroom and threw up. I drove home, but kept getting that hot clammy sensation. I was sick again at home, felt exhausted so went to bed. I've just woken up after sleeping for 4 hours with a headache. As I said I've had the same thing happen before. Would this class as a migraine?

Not sure if it would be migraine, sounds more like you're about to faint? Low blood sugar?
My migraines start with a black patch in the middle of my sight with flashing lines going outwards, which slowly expands, the headache usually starts twenty minutes later. The headache is excruciating, one sided only.

I'd not long had my lunch, so not blood sugar, had been drinking plenty through out the morning. Not sure why I'd be sick if I was going to faint?

When I get a migraine I feel as if all the energy has drained out of my body, shakes, hot and cold and I immediately need to sleep...followed by an intense pain over my left temple. Then cue vomiting for a day and wishing I was dead. I feel dizzy and not with it most of the time but no visual auras. Bloody hate them.

I don't have aura with my migraines (and I don't suffer badly, but do get them frequently).

I usually wake up with a headache, one where it feels like something is trying to squeeze my right eyeball out of my eye socket. I also get throbbing with it, which gets worse when I look down/bend over. I usually start feeling nauseous about an hour later unless I can go straight to sleep. The day after when the pain has subsided I feel like I have a hangover- nauseous, spacey, dizzy.

It certainly could be a migraine. They vary so much from person to person. Mine start with my eyes going peculiar. I can see sparkly zig zag lines across my vision. If I take painkillers and go to sleep for a couple of hours in a darkened room wearing an eye mask, I can sometimes stop it in its tracks. Otherwise the banging headache kicks in and vomiting isn’t unusual. Fortunately they seem to be becoming less frequent as I approach the menopause. Every cloud!
