It does sound worrying. What is your GP saying? How about your diet/nutrition; maybe your body is triggering inflammation reactions as a result of what you eat? Last blood tests; any nutrients or vitamin deficiency? Not much help but answering these questions could go a long way in understanding what is going on.

Have you been to see your GP?

With achy joints, fatigue, lots of infections and changes to bleeding, they should do a full blood count.

@Itakechargeofmyhealthwithscience

Hi there!

I have had the following tests:
~ Ovary scan
~ Bowel cancer stool check
~ Breast scan
~ Smear test
~ Cyst check
~ A huge number of blood tests as they said I may have had long covid as I was suffering constant fatigue, brain fog, nausea etc. i can't remember what the blood tests were for but there were lots. I was told I was a little deficient in vitamin D but I've been taking extra for many months now.

My diet mainly consists of salmon, Greek salads, fruit. Then at weekends anything goes 😂

@nether Yes they've done lots. I think I need to call them for a list of what I have had. I have an appt but not for three weeks and that means three weeks of worry!

Stressed? How is your sleep?

girlladywoman · 05/07/2022 21:39

@Fere I can get very stressed. Not like long term but in the moment stress. Easily struggle to cope with simple things. Sleep hasn't been great for the past few months either

@girlladywoman great so you've had plenty of checks. What about your iron, anti-oxidants and selenium levels? A high intake of those through food and supplements could help. Caffeine intake per day? Sleep pattern?

Neverendingdust · 05/07/2022 21:46

Are you taking any probiotics? You could have gut issues, it’s a bit woo on here but celery juice has been effective for many people with similar problems, Google Medical Medium celery juice for how it works. It’s worth looking in to.

girlladywoman · 05/07/2022 21:48

@Itakechargeofmyhealthwithscience

Hi again! I can get some food supplements yes. Today I bought a multi vitamin to start too. Sleep hasn't been great of late. The last few months.

@Neverendingdust @Itakechargeofmyhealthwithscience

hi there! I take those probiotic yoghurts every morning. I also have a tablespoon of collagen powder on my coffee every morning. I have two coffees a day and any tea is decaf

@everythingssogrey @Itakechargeofmyhealthwithscience @nether @Fere @Neverendingdust

So I've also realised that I'm feeling sick straight after eating bread or pasta (even gluten free). It points to celiac which is an autoimmune thing. So many things linking and scaring me!

OP posts:
Fere · 08/07/2022 17:05

My ex had that, not celiac as such but once he excluded gluten he started feeling stronger and was able to build up some muscles.

girlladywoman · 08/07/2022 17:09

@Fere Interesting! Because I've been experiencing these symptoms for about a year but at the same time was diagnosed with long covid, I assumed it was that! But I'm not so convinced now. Maybe it brought it on

OP posts:
Fere · 08/07/2022 17:13

Long covid might have weakened your immine system and what was until now masked got activated?
Have no gluten for few weeks and compare how you feel.
Have look at this thread. Excluding UPF food too may benefit you

@Fere This makes a lot of sense. And also makes me feel less scared. Thank you!! I'll mention it all to the dr in a couple of weeks but what you've said has calmed my anxiety! I'll check our the link now
