Small red freckles starting to appear

Added a picture for reference (had the two larger moles my entire life it’s not about them) but recently had these tiny red dots/freckles appear on my arms and a few on my legs, they’re not raised or painful but I’m a bit concerned they’ve just appeared out of nowhere. Does anyone else have them and are they normal? Can’t seem to find anything on google and was planning to ring GP In the morning but I don’t want to bother if it’s normal.
thank you:)

Ive got new ones of these too, sent gp a photo and they werent concerned at all, he said they are harmless, but no harm in getting them checked just for peace of mind

I have these too - looks like someone has used a red felt tip pen on me! I did once mention them to GP - wasn't concerned and said they are age related

The red dots which look like a dot with a red biro/felt tip are called cherry angiomas. I started getting them when I was in my 50s and have quite a lot of them now, mainly on my arms but also legs and body.

I have a couple of these, thank you... I was meaning to ring the doctors about them

Both my parents got them and so has DH and I have a few too. I think they are more common if you are very fair skinned

If they are brown they are new freckles / age spots - no need to worry.

If red ... when I had v low blood counts with leukaemia I had petechia appear. Nothing to worry about in and of itself but indicative of small spontaneous bleeds under the skin. If you have any other health concerns eg tiredness, anaemia, night sweats etc it would be worth checking your blood counts just to be sure. I'm sure it's probably not this but nobody else had mentioned hence my comment.

I have had these appear in the last few months. There was a thread about it where several people seem to have similar: www.mumsnet.com/talk/general_health/4533045-Tiny-red-spots-on-arms

I still have 100s, on arms mostly but on chest/stomach too. I’ve also had two much larger ones (which I think are cherry angioma) appear seemingly overnight on my torso.

I have had blood tests recently for a possible auto immune condition (they came back negative) and as part of the tests they did full blood count too. I’m assuming nothing untoward was found as the rheumatologist didn’t even mention the fbc results.

I have a few friends who have them too - not quite as many as me though!
