Every weekday I walk my son to school. then walk to work. Takes about 30 minutes. I work in a kitchen for 5 and a half hours and then walk to pick my son up from school. I wear steel toed shoes in the kitchen but otherwise my feet are so sore!! I am a size 8.5/9. Currently have Mountain Warehouse walking shoes but they hurt me. Just got paid so want treat myself to a pair of comfy shoes. Any suggestions from people who spend a lot of time on their feet?

Sketchers trainers with the memory foam soles. I have a knee injury and these have helped massively.

Another vote for memory foam Skechers here, only shoe I've ever put on and felt immediately comfortable without wearing them in

Sketchers Arch Fit trainers, so worth it. If you need something which isn't trainers then Clarks do a comfy shoe range. Not the best style wise but they are comfy

I have arthritis in my feet and recently discovered Sketchers trainers. Bliss. There are several different kinds, TKMaxx often have them in.

Definitely Skechers!

SarahKennedy · 03/07/2022 21:08

Hotter? My physio said definitely not Skechers...

SarahKennedy · 03/07/2022 21:09

Hotter aren't very stylish, I should say, but they're comfortable if you don't have to worry too much about what they look like (and Skechers also look pretty bad, so it's a toss up between different types of not-very-stylish).

Merrell hiking shoes/trainers go up to size 9 for women

If you are thinking of sandals I can’t find comfier than Moshulu.

LadyEloise1 · 03/07/2022 21:51

My podiatrist also said No to Skechers - I showed him my Skechers Arch Fit. SadAngry

YourLittleSecret · 03/07/2022 22:12

I think the thing about my sketchers that makes them so comfortable is they are a bit wider than most. Not glamorous I know but this is about practicallity. I also have some custom made insoles supplied by podiatry.

Hush puppies are great

TheClitterati · 03/07/2022 22:51

Check out Wolky.

I find Moshulu lovely to look at but on the narrow side.
I wear Hotter for comfort.

Tallulasdancingshoes · 04/07/2022 13:50

Fitflop Rally trainers are also really comfortable.

Jules912 · 04/07/2022 15:42

I find Nike air trainers really comfy ( and have the plain black ones for work) but will be looking into sketchers now.

LittleSockOfHorrors · 04/07/2022 15:53

I like Ecco leather trainers. Especially the leather lined ones.
