So I’ve had a lump behind the hollow behind my earlobe for about 3 months. When I first showed a GP they couldn’t feel anything but it’s got bigger so I went back. It’s around the size of a baked bean now. The GP said she doesn’t know what it is but thinks it’s not a gland/ node. She wonders if it is attached to the muscle or a bulge in the muscle. It’s painless and not rock hard, but not mobile. Been referred for an ultrasound and blood test looking for inflammation. I’ve scared myself silly reading that side of neck masses are 75% malignant. I’m on holiday in the UK, and feeling awful. Struggling to be jolly for my family. Can’t enjoy myself and to cap it all I’ve now tested positive for covid so can’t even go out. My health anxiety is spoiling everything. Need a hand hold. Can’t find much online that seems to be what I’m presenting.
