What is this rash?

Posting on behalf of a friend - her son has come out in this rash. Didn't notice it there this morning. No change in skin / washing products. He says its stinging.

Any ideas please what this could be? He already takes antihistamine daily for something else. Small patch on his back also.

That looks like shingles but I'm no GP.

Could be molluscum?

Yes get her to phone 111 & query shingles, prompt treatment helps if it is.

I'm not a doctor but that does look like shingles to me.

Looks like shingles. My DS had the same when he was 12, classic for it to appear across the rib/chest area. Call 111 asap because getting him antivirals early can help massively.
