Giving blood and BF

I used to be a regular blood donator and have just booked an appointment to give blood on Saturday. But, am currently BF DD number 2, is it still ok to donate?

I wasn't allowed to. Worth checking before you go.

I thought it was okay once your DD/DS was a certain age - either 9 or 12 months I think?
