Iron count of 4

I asked for a blood test as I’ve been feeling a bit rundown lately, was curious to check B12 etc. I’ve just had a message to call the doctors as my iron (haemaglobin?) count is 4. A quick Google suggests this is really low - any experiences how low this is or what they might do?

I'm guessing that 4 refers to your ferritin levels rather than haemoglobin. You would feel terrible if that was haemoglobin.
Mine were 4 when tested in January but now are over 50 after taking iron tablets for 3 months
