Antibiotics

I'm working away and staying at my mums, I've got a chest infection and waiting for a call from my gp over an hour away

Does anybody know if they give me antibiotics can I collect them from my mums gp or chemist?

If you need antibiotics you can pick them up from any pharmacy; just let the GP know .

Can they just electronically send a prescription to a pharmacy near you?

Thanks all, I'm so impressed my gp has prescribed antibiotics, they asked the nearest chemist to where I am, it was there in a couple of hours ready to be collected
