I was at dentist 6 weeks ago for a filling to be changed on my left lower jaw. The dentist gave an injection into the back of my jaw on that side to numb it, the pain was excruciating and went through my lips.
Since then, my jaw has been progressively more painful. It hurts to open my mouth, and is now becoming uncomfortable to talk and eat.
Today the left side of my face became numb, as though I've had anaesthetic.
I tried to see the dentist on Friday but as I have a cold sore they won't see me. I have an appointment on 1st July.
Should I be worried? Call 101?
