Being in a 'slightly raised risk' group I had the option of having this vaccine at my Gp surgery. Which I did yesterday. I have never had such awful reaction to anything ever before. The actual inject really really hurt too -am normally not bothered by an injections, and I take all the recommended vaccines.
Of course if anything gets too awful I will call the drs, but wanted to know anyone else experience of this vaccine. Id never heard of it, most people I know haven't heard of it, and its generally offered to much older people. online is not very helpful over side effects so wanted to see if a anyone had had it, experienced any reactions and how long they last for! thank you!

I had it about 10 years ago. Sore arm and a bit of a headache. Similar to a flu jab in side effects. Can't remember it being a particularly painful injection.

I had this vaccine recently with no reaction. Hope you feel better soon. CakeDaffodilFlowers

I had this vaccine a while ago because it was recommended before my immune-suppressant treatment started, and it was fine.

Had the Moderna booster a few days ago and bloody hell, I'm absolutely wiped out, head-achy, and my arm's really painful. (Was fine with AZ and Pfizer.)

It's strange how different vaccines do or don't affect us.

I had it two years ago. No reaction at all. No reaction to the past two flu jabs either but the one before those wiped me out. Maybe you had another illness brewing and it overloaded your immune system. Maybe if you had it a week earlier you wouldn't have had the same reaction. Hope you start to feel better soon Flowers
