Hi i had arthroscopy surgery on Wednesday on my knee
My ankle is all swollen and in really bad pain, did anyone else have this? Is it normal or should i call the ward i was on?

I did the ward clark didnt really take any notice and just asked me to put ice on it

I had knee arthroscopy. I don't remember having a swollen ankle or pain other than in the knee itself.

I would phone the ward again and ask to speak to the sister in charge or the on duty doctor.

If it was a ward clerk that you spoke to they shouldn't have been giving medical advice.

You need to speak to someone medical OP not the ward clerk, they're not qualified to give post -op advice.
