PTSD

I don't know if I have PTSD, I was diagnosed with cancer 2 and a half years ago. I feel constantly scared it will come back. I think about it everyday.
I still can't talk about when I was diagnosed and find it hard to talk about the cancer.
My cancer was easy to treat so I feel like a fraud for feeling this way.

I’m really sorry. That sounds very hard. You’re of course not in any way a fraud. It could be PTSD. It’s definitely some kind of trauma response. Have you sought any help for this?

@FloorWipes

No I haven't spoke to anyone about how I feel.

I think you should think about accessing therapy. Would you consider that? You deserve support for this. There is help for trauma. It must be hard feeling like you have to hide these feelings as well.

I too feel like cancer has given me PTSD. I became ill and told I had cancer in a matter of hours. I also firmly believe that chemotherapy traumatised me.
