Sensitive teeth

3 of my front bottom teeth are sensitive if I touch the front or backs of them. It started during the first lockdown, just this sudden sharp pain similar to when you eat something very cold. It was constant for a few weeks before going away, and since then it has just randomly cropped up. It's back again, hence why I'm posting... None of the teeth show any obvious signs of damage or decay or have any tartar. Gums look ok too. They aren't sensitive to temperature, only touch, and putting pressure on the tops of them is fine too. Just the fronts and backs that hurt. I'm going to the dentist for the first time in a few years (I was very good with appointments until the pandemic) on Wednesday, but would appreciate any advice or suggestions of what it may be and what treatments may be in store for me.

My dentist recommended Sensodyne toothpaste which I’ve found works really well.

Sensitive toothpaste cures mine when it happens.
