How do I work out what I'm allergic too?

I spoke to GP about the headaches that I've been getting for months. He wasn't concerned at all, didn't offer any tests or anything, he said it's probs stress.
Recently I've noticed along with the headaches I get dry eyes and stuffy ears. So I'm wondering whether it's an allergy or hey fever. I've taken an antihistamine today and it has cleared my headache and stuffy ears. I still have dry eyes. I guess I'll have to take it again a few times to be sure it is the antihistamine that's helped.

But how do I work out what I'm allergic to? If it's hey fever when does it normally come on?

I have a cat. I have a feather duvet. Could it be them?

Thanks

Both those would set my allergies off. I’d keep taking the antihistamines daily and if it helps then at least you’ve narrowed it down to allergies. Hayfever is a broad term for what can be allergies to a number of different pollens and grasses which affect some people differently throughout the season, it’s any time from April to October for me! If you want allergy tests to know specifics you’d probably need to go privately.

Keep taking antihistamines and change your duvet to a synthetic one. Hoover regularly and damp dust and great your dry eye with warm compresses daily.
