Carpal Tunnel referral - how long

Just wondering if anyone has any recent experience of how long a hospital referral for possible carpal tunnel syndrome is currently taking? I'm guessing quite a long time, but I'm just curious as I've been referred and it's hurting more each day.

I saw the GP early December, first appointment at hand clinic just before Christmas, right hand op early February and left hand op mid April. Very pleased with it and hardly any pain.

BTW the surgeon stressed the importance of keeping up the exercises and massage at home.

The exercises and massage are to get movement back after the op and to stop scar tissue building up. Sorry should have made this clear.
