Any dentists out there?

I've done one night of teeth whitening with Phillips zoom, as flogged to me by my dentist. And my teeth feel horrendous! Really painful.

Is it possible to get refunded on this type of thing if you don't get along with it?

Also, how can something so painful not be bad for your teeth?!

Your dentist should have warned you about possible sensitivity?
Are you using a sensodyne toothpaste ( or similar?)
Have a night off from the whitening and place sensitive toothpaste in the trays instead for one night. See if that helps.

It's unlikely you will get a refund. The dentist will have paid for his staff to assist at your appointments, will have paid for your trays, not to mention the bleaching solution. It's unlikely it can be passed on to another patient as already opened.

If symptoms persist I would however contact your dentist who might be able offer other suggestions or treatment
