As I'm unable to see my nurse until the end of the month I wonder if someone can tell me if these results are acceptable as a whole please? I'm just getting to grips with various issues and I see the tolerance figures but find it hard to understand the whole picture when results are combined. Thank you.

There is a video on here about results.
www.bhf.org.uk/informationsupport/risk-factors/high-cholesterol

I know in my surgery they like total cholesterol to be 5 or below
HDL is good cholesterol and they like it to be above 1.2 for heart protection & ratio I think less than 4.5
I don’t know what triglycerides level is supposed to be but I know when mine was high one time they asked if I drank a lot of alcohol!

Thank you for replying. I found the video interesting. Just joined BHF so will try to speak to someone there.
