"Mild" illness but still an illness right?

I've been diagnosed a lot lately. Obviously I don't want to be ill but SOME of my illnesses are classed as "mild".

Ok I'm lucky but I'm just under the threshold for free treatment. Not such a bid deal if it will help and I can find the money no problem.

It's just my family keep saying " but it's only mild". It still affects me though and I suffer more than if I didn't have it at all right?

They also say "you can't blame not doing x because you have x that's no excuse."

That sounds frustrating. When I get colds they knock me off my feet (temp, shivers, severe headache, sinus pain.) but people are like it's just a cold because their experience of a cold is the sniffles. Hope your ok.
