Covid - ribs or lungs?

Hi, I'm on day 7 of Covid, had it really bad. Today started with what I thought was a pulled muscle - top/mid back in the left. Tonight it hurts when I breathe at my front and back, just where my ribs end. Should I get seen to?

It's not just when I breathe though. If I stretch or get up from sitting etc.

It could be a muscle but I would call 111. I had the same thing and they sent the paramedics out to check me over and I was very glad they did.

@Saracenia hi, thank you for the reply! I was quite concened last night thinking it was my lung, but I woke up this morning and it had eased a lot. Just feeling it in my back a bit. What was your outcome?

I'm very pleased to hear it crazy rat. Mine was muscular as well and I took pain killers as advised. It's always it's wise to get lung stuff checked out, well for me anyway as I have underlying disease. I hope you get over Covid soon.

That's good. And yes I do too, so I was quite worried. The pain has gone now but I'm still chesty and rough.
