Norovirus/gastro - searching for sympathy

DD caught it from nursery and was sick for 3 days. Thought that was it, but 3 days later I caught it and I feel horrendous. I've stopped the d&v part but I have the smallest appetite, feel exhausted yet struggle to sleep due to the pain.
My ribcage, my chest, my arms, my back and the worst headache I've ever had. I was close to tears last night and the only thing stopping me going to a&e was the thought of how busy they are and the poor people I'd likely pass it on to.
Today DS has come down with it and as luck would have it, it's his birthday tomorrow.
So far my OH has been amazing and hasn't caught it yet, but I just want it to bugger off already.

Gosh sounds like our house! DS caught something from nursery - temp, cold symptoms and bad nappies. Few days later I was up all night vomiting and spent the next day in bed... tried to eat the tiniest cracker about 12 hours later and threw it back up. I'm now on day 3 or 4 and haven't eating anything - I'm just not hungry and also scared it'll come back up! Feeling a bit brighter though and managing sips of squash without feeling queasy so that's a plus I guess.

Also have a really painful chest - think I pulled a muscle throwing up. Have had painful joints and hips for past few days too.

I could barely sleep last night, and every time I did fall asleep I woke drenched in sweat.
DS seems fine in himself. Back to eating normally and excitedly opened all his cards and presents this morning whilst I looked on from my seat in front of the fan 😓
