Laparotomy!!!

Hi everyone, i don't know if anyone will be able to help me but i had a laparotomy 3wks ago and i was wondering if anyone on here has had one before and how long did you wait afterwards to get pregnant? I'm not planning to get pregnant any time soon but wondered if anyone knows if its the same recommended time frame after a c section?

it’s probably best to talk to your surgeon about it as it may depend a bit on what operation they actually did (‘laparotomy’ just describes the way they got into your abdomen and doesn’t tell you anything about what else they ended up doing).
