cystitus and bleeding......a little bit worried

this morning i developed cystitus....more action in the bedroom than i've had for a while
i've been drinking plenty of water, going to the loo regularly, but the last two times i've noticed a bit of blood on the tissue when i've wiped. the urge to wee all the time has diminished as the day has gone on, so i thought it was getting better.
i've had cystitus before, considerably worse than this but i've never had bleeding before......have i just overdone the bedroom activity or should i be worried?
normally i'd have a bath but i don't have one in my new place.....

I've had bleeding with cystitis before.Is there a chemist open nearby?There are some over the counter remedies available.If it doesn't clear up,then a trip to the Drs is the best thing.I hope you're feeling better soon.

The bleeding got a little worse but the last time i went it was better. if i'm still like it tomorrow morning i'll get a gp appt. i'm not in any pain except the very last bit of wee which is when i get the bleeding.

Do you have any cranberry juice? That is excellent for Cystitis.

If it is very painful,can you turn the shower head on yourself as you wee?

yes you can get bleeding with cystitis, is the blood fresh or diluted with the urine? You can buy over the counter stuff from most supermarkets as well, (active ingredient is sodium citrate). Also cranberry juice if you can get some. If no improvement by morning give your GP a call

the blood is diluted with the urine, but also very red on the tissue after i have wiped. i can't get out to buy anything, but i have read half a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda in a glass of water can help, so i may try that as i have some in.

still uncomfortable this morning, but now with a bit of belly ache and a niggly feeling in my back......tried to get a gp appt for today but the best i can get is 9am tomorrow so looks like i'll have to persevere today........
