Forgotten my alendronic acid

I'm in Europe, travelling about for 5 weeks and as above. I've been to a local chemist and I need a prescription. Can anyone tell me if this break in medication will cause harm if I don't take them for 5 weeks?

I've been on it for a year.
I didn't take it while in hospital last year (because they could never seem to give me it before breakfast and I wasn't going to miss eating).
If I'm going on holiday I don't take it but I haven't gone as long as 5 weeks.

Can you do an enquiry to GP online or on the NHS app? Or ring your specialist nusre if you have one?

Your pharmacy should be able to send the prescription to the pharmacy in Europe.
