Pretty sure I have thrush as dh has just been diagnosed and I have an itch. I know you are meant to go to the gp the first time but the wait is ridiculous. Can I just buy the tablet from boots?

I never went to the GP the first time I had thrush.
Speak to a pharmacist.

Only recently went to the GP with thrush and that's what NHS said to do. They wanted to take a swab to confirm thrush and not BV.

You can buy the tablet over the counter. Also ask for the generic one as it's loads cheaper
