My mum never explained what is was to me when I was little or why it happened. It's only one side and i've always had very long hair so no-one knows - although when I was little I was extremely self consious of it which made me painfully shy and introverted. I'm 27 now and have only ever seen one other person with it. I've just looked it up on the net - I figured its time I actually find out about it!! Apparently they can reconstruct an ear from one of your ribs! God I hope I win the lottery..... I know what I'll be doing!!
I was just curious to see if anyone else had actually heard of it!
