My baby is 10 weeks old, I had her via emergency c section. My bleeding stopped at 6 weeks and then I had my first period again at 8 weeks which was a full period and stopped after 4 days - however when I woke up this morning I noticed wiped there’s bright red blood again when I wiped and also blood in the toilet. Since then I’ve been bleeding again? It’s not really heavy but it is red and noticeable on a few pad like the start of a period.
Does this sound normal? Can postpartum bleeding still occur 10 weeks after birth and also after your period has already been and gone or is it somehow another period or something? I don’t know whether this is something to see the GP about or not. Any help would be appreciated thank you!
