Steroid infection - pain

I'm not good with pain, or injections, but I've been advised I need steroid injections into my toe joint - could someone please tell me it's not as bad as I think it is?

Got it into my head it's incredibly painful!!

I've had steroid injections in my glutes and twice in my facet joints in spine, it wasn't bad at all but hopefully someone can comment on toes.

No idea about it in your toe or joint, but I had then when I was pregnant with DS2. They were just like an normal injection. And I hate injections. The one I had before my spinal block was worse. I needed an injection to numb the area for the actual spinal injection.

I’ve had steroid injections in a few joints and it doesn’t hurt much at all. No worse than a vaccination. Usually for me, the steroid is mixed with painkiller so it actually eases within minutes too

Ahhhh thank you everyone, I don't know why I think it's so painful I don't know anyone who's had steroid injections lol the things we invent
