Hi there I've suffered with tonsil stones for a few years now they went away about 6 months ago but they've come back and I don't know what to do I tend to get them quite big and this is a picture of the hole in my tonsils I suffer with awful health anxiety and I know I should go and get them checked out but I know there going to say I should have them removed but I have a huge fear of surgery, I just want peoples opinion if they've had them and if they've gone without surgery. As I'm doing everything brushing twice a day mouth wash twice a day gargling salty water I don't know what else to do and I know there not life threatening but for someone who suffers with quite bad anxiety this is a big thing for me😔

What part of surgery are you scared of? If you're scared of the general anaesthetic, you can get them lasered away with a local anaesthetic.
