Combined Pill Advide

Hi everyone, I was just looking for some advice. I started a new combined pill last Tuesday (17th) and I was told to wait 7 days before having unprotected sex.
Well last night (Monday 23rd) me and my partner had sex multiple times and didn't use any extra contraception, but then it dawned on me, does that count as 7 days as I'd taken 7 pills or would it only be effective from today (Tuesday 24th)? Would I have been protected last night or should I worry? Thanks in advance for any replies :)

Its 7 days of pill taking to be covered AFAIK
Had you taken 7 by Monday?

Hi @dementedpixie thanks for the reply. Yes Monday would have been the 7th pill in my pack. I took it first thing in the morning
