Leg Cramps

I was woke up with cramp in my calf in the early hours of Saturday morning, (not that unusual - probably happens a couple of times a year) rubbed it, got back to sleep. But since then it’s still painful, I’m staying v hydrated and stretching, but it aches all the time and I’m getting small cramps. Any suggestions to get rid of it? Is there a point at which I should start to worry?

I've heard that magnesium supplements or the liquid magnesium that you rub on your legs (and gets absorbed through the skin ) help with leg cramps. Might be worth a try.
