Gallbladder/Burning Pain

Iv had pains in my gallbladder area for around 7 months which started in pregnancy where the doctor put it down to being pregnancy. 6 weeks post partum and I still have the pains which is burning pain under my right rib wrapping around to the back and more digestive problems! Iv paid for 2 ultrasounds and there are no gallstones present but I’m still convinced it’s gallbladder as it’s every time I eat. Has anyone else had this problem but it has turned out to be something else? I’m at the end of my tether:(

Sounds like your gallbladder is dying to be honest. Request HIDA scan.

I have requested this when I was seen privately unfortunately they don’t do them in Scotland and he isn’t willing to refer me! im lost, I have now been referred urgently to the gastro but it can be a 4+ month wait and that’s without the wait for tests! :(

Hi hun sorry to jump on your post late but im experiencing similar and all my digestive issues happened in pregnancy. I became constipated and started bleeding from back passage. Not long after bloody mucus started. I had a constant burning sensation and loud stomach which was put down to indigestion and baby.

Fast forward having little one, I went back to normal for all of a few weeks and bleeding started again, burning sensation continued in stomach so eventually got a colonoscopy which showed colitis.

Again a few weeks all good and then the stomach pain intensified and was causing pain under my ribs which radiated to my back. I mean constant to the point I was struggling with lo.

Then had a endoscopy and that was totally clear so now being referred for abdominal scan as doctor wants to rule out gallbladder issues.

Is this similar to you I only tend to get a few days break between the intense pain
