4Y/O infection in the lung

Hi,

So my daughter was in hospital 12 weeks ago, as her oxygen was low and she was unwell. She ended up staying on oxygen for a week. Her oxygen was dropping crazy at night.
They said she had a chest infection and adinovirus. The X-ray showed a haze on the lung.

Fast forward.. 12 weeks on she's still got this terrible cough and is unwell. I pushed for the follow up xray I was promised, after them telling me it wasn't needed... anyway, the results are in and they show some changes and inflammation/infection of the bronchial tubes?

Sooo.. we went up to the hospital, she's had blood tests (awaiting results), she's been given a 4 weeks course of antibiotics, she's getting a sweat test to rule out the chance of cystic fibrosis, and she will have a follow up after the 4 week course of antibiotics to see if they have worked ect. She's also got a blue inhaler which she's had for the duration of the 12 weeks and they've said she may have a brown one after the 4 week course of antibiotics but idk.. I'm so confused.

Anyone else have any similar experiences? I'm going out of my mind. She's always been healthy. This all started 12 weeks ago.
She has picked loads up since starting school but this is just lingering and I'm worried out of my mind.

Hey! What's happening with your LO? So basically, my daughter was on oxygen in hospital, and after that for a good year she kept catching everything and being poorly, needing a few hospital trips with steroids ect. Whenever she gets poorly now it affects her asthma BUT she's been so much better, I think the first year of school and all the germs was too much.
