3yo with rash and temp - what's he got?

My 3yo ds had diarrhoea on Thursday, fever all yesterday, and now has a blotchy red rash on his face and neck. Are these symptoms familiar to anyone? He's quite cheerful, and the rash passes the glass test.

Thanks for any suggetions
