High lymphocyte levels

Hi,

I've been feeling extremely tired and also been loosing hair. I went to the doctors for a blood test, they've come back today asking me to rebook another test for a month time as it's come back with high lymphocyte levels however they didn't really explain what that means? I just wondered if anyone has had any experience with this? I don't want to Google it as I know awful and probably unrealistic things will come up 😂

Thanks in advance

If they've asked you to book a second test in a few weeks, thus almost certainly means that the levels are only just out of range, consistent with a recent infection. In a month, there've every likelihood it will be back to normal.

You would have been referred straight to haematology if the level was worryingly high

@nether oh brilliant thank you for explaining! That makes complete sense ☺️

@Daisy95
how did work out for you?

Daisy95 · 21/02/2023 07:17

@Sassygirlj hi, they kept repeated the tests and my levels are still high, I have been referred to haematology but not been seen yet. I don't think they are worried! Hope you are ok
