Itchy back

Just wondered if anyone knows best thing to use. DH has had an incredibly itchy back for ages. He's also managed to scratch it because its so itchy. When I looked this evening he has some large warty type things and smaller red spots. We tried some hayfever remedy in the week but this made no difference.

Anyone else had this and successfully found a remedy that stops the itching please.

No idea what the rash could be I'd just be guessing as it could be any number of things, but until a visit to the doctor is possible try Calamine Lotion, very soothing, you get get various brands from virtually any pharmacy and some supermarkets too, it's relatively cheap as well.

The large warty things that itch need to be seen by a doctor, it's a possible sign of skin cancer.

I'd agree he needs a gp. I had similar but the itching was centred on a mole. Not cancerous but an increased risk of skin cancer(which I already knew). Removal was easy and the worst bit was the anaesthetic
