Calprotectin & FIT Test….

just after some advice.

3 year’s post C section. Intermittent but horrid stabbing pain in lower right pelvis since.

First seen GP in 2020 about this, but it’s getting worse and so i’ve been going in, regularly about this for the last 10 months.

In that time they’ve conducted 2 Calprotectin tests (first result 74, second 49) And also a FIT test which checks for
blood in the stools - negative thankfully.

I feel that this pain affects my bowel. When it kicks off, I sometimes feel the urge to go to the toilet. Some weeks I suffer with constipation, but it’s not a persistent problem.

I think it’s likely gynae related, but I can’t shake the feeling that i’d like my bowel looking at.

Does anyone know if it’s unlikely to be anything sinister related to the bowel if my FIT test and both Calprotectin tests came back ok? Or do I need to be pushing for a colonoscopy?
