Something stuck under ribs?

This is a bit of an odd one so bear with:

When I bend and twist in a certain way, it feels as though something gets stuck under my ribs on my right side. When I straighten up again it goes. It’s roughly about a hands width beneath my breast (odd measurement but the best I could figure out how to describe it!).

I’m not particularly worried as it doesn’t hurt, but I’m wondering if anyone has ever had similar? It’s just uncomfortable. I am not keen on seeing a doctor as it’s not particularly impacting me and I would feel silly.

Not sure if it’s relevant but I’m 5 months post partum and didn’t notice it before.

Gallbladder? It's quite common to develop gallstones in pregnancy.

Yes. Google slipped rib. There was a whole thread about this a while back. Lots of post partum mums had it plus others. Nothing sinister. I sometimes get a similar thing but mine hurts for a split second and only if I twist in a certain way. It’s like a nerve from my back but I feel it at the front. Sounds weird I know. Hasn’t happened for a while.

@tiredanddangerous I don’t think that’s it, it’s not quite matching the symptoms I’ve read.

@Benjispruce4 thank you so much! I have done some Googling but didn’t come across this. It sounds exactly like it!

Yes, @Benjispruce4 is right, I remember that thread as lots of people said the same thing.

Ah good, glad to have helped. Hope it resolves as you get back to normal.
