11mo shaking head side to side is this a symptom of anything sinister?

I thought maybe something to do with the ears??
Not all the time just now and then, he almost seems a bit dazed/dizzy when he does it.
Can anyone shed any light on this?

DD used to do this all the time at similar age, was a phase, grew out of it.

likes the newly discovered feeling of dizziness, will grow out of it, and then into it again when using alcohol for similar effects.
