Ds1 is 7 and has Aspergers, so he isn't very good at telling us if something is hurting. I have just noticed this evening that the gum below one of his lower middle (adult) teeth seems to have all but disappeared, and the little rim left is all red and squidgy looking. The rest of his gums look fine, he's never needed any dental treatment so far and he only has his two lower and half an upper front adult tooth at the moment (as well as all the rest of the milk teeth of course ).
What can have happened, and will this lower tooth fall out? Should I wait to see what happens, or try and get an urgent dental appointment tomorrow??

If he appears in pain or if you are at all worried try to get an emergency dentist appointment tomorrow. Know this isn't much help but haven't a clue what it could be.
