Where has my period gone?

I am a few days late, but normally I am as regular as clockwork. I did a pregnancy test just in case, and it was negative.

I am bf DD who is 9 months, but my periods came back when she was about 4 months old.

I was just wondering if the fact that DD has been ill for the past week or so and has been bf loads would have an effect on it? Either that, or the sleep deprivation.

Could well be the increase in feeding, which will throw your hormones out of their regular pattern
