Hammer toe

Has anyone had this? How did you fix it?

Bloody painful!

DD got a hammer toe at 22 because she was wearing the same pair of boots every day. We googled it and she swapped her footwear about, making sure her shoes wide enough around the toes and it completely disappeared after a period of months
Could it be something similar for you?
At 22 she was mortified by hammer toe shoes from Google - came up with Hotter shoes etc. She didn't end up needing those
