Is my shoulder pain normal?

My shoulder started hurting badly last week (no injury, I was sitting in the cinema when it started). Since then there have been times I can't move my arm due to the pain. Mostly its bareable with painkillers (although they don't make the pain go away, just makes it so I can use the arm normally). Deep heat/muscle pain gel does nothing. It gets worse if I stay still for to long.

Since Monday I've been getting bouts or numbness in my arm and the pain has spread up to my ear&neck and jaw (not consistently, but when the pains worst it spread if that makes sense).

Is this normal for shoulder pain? Do I need to just stick it out and hope it eases off soon.

I would go and see the dr for this OP.

Also, if there’s any chance of pregnancy, Google ‘shoulder pain in early pregnancy’.

Menopausal? Frozen shoulder? Hope not for your sake....

Definitely not pregnant and (hopefully) to young for it to be menopausal. I worried about a frozen shoulder but it doesn't feel stiff as such so I hope it's not that. I will try and make a gp appointment this week.

Sometimes pain arise in shoulder due to muscle reflux, so do simple body massage. This will helps to overcome your shoulder pain. If that pain is again continue, then surely meet your health care expert or doctor.
