Do bilirubin levels fluctuate. Had bloods done a month ago and birthing was 8 had them repeated 2 weeks later as something else was raised and bilirubin is now 14. I'm aware it is still in range but why has it increased so much in 2 weeks?

Have you ever been checked for Gilbert's Syndrome? I had some funny bilirubin levels and then through work had a private health check, which confirmed i have this. It's a mild condition but can cause higher than normal bilirubin levels in certain circumstances eg. Stress, illness, etc.

No. No one has mentioned anything about the change in levels i'm guessing as they are in range. It just seemed strange for it to change so much in a short space of time. I was quite stressed and worried at the time, could it be down to that then?
