I’ve just been to the gp with a pea sized lump on my tailbone. It’s not really that sore tbh but I didn’t know what it was. The doc said she thinks it’s a cyst that’s possibly infected and has given me anti antibiotics.
is this likely to get rid of the cyst ?
im a bit confused because I’ve just had 2 courses of antibiotics for an infected cyst on my head whilst waiting for surgical removal, I thought that was the only way to get rid of a cyst. She didn’t mention anything about having this one on my tailbone removed.
not too keen on taking more antibiotics really either !
