Please help halfway through medical abortion

So I'm halfway though just taken the last dose of tablets , I'm in so much pain 😭😭😭 it hurts so bad , I have my two kids with me so I can't get a bath to try help with the pain . I don't have a hot water bottle either . Iv taken two codine but nothing , please and advice 😭😭😭

Can you take ibuprofen? GP have me buscopan for my miscarriage too as it's anti cramping

You can take ibuprofen and paracetamol at the same time as codeine. I was told to do this when having a medically managed miscarriage and it did help. Hope it eases soon .

I don't have anything other then codine , I'm not bleeding yet is this normal , I'm just crying in pain it's honestly awful . My poor daughter is just looking at me and i feel awful for her I'm trying to hide it

Can you call family or a friend to come and be with you and to look after your children

Can someone come and be with you? Did the clinic give you a phone number for advice?

Can you go and sit on the toilet and try to let your body relax? If pain is excruciating then call the numbers you should have been given.

You need someone to take the children away. There could be a lot of blood which they will find distressing.

I haven't got anyone for my children at the moment . My partner is at work and my mum is too . My oldest is at nursery at the mo but he's due to come home at half 3

Also, I realise this won't take the pain away but if no hot water bottle you can put rice in a sock, tie knot and microwave for minute, shake, then further 30 seconds and it's a cheap heated pad.

I think you should call your oartner or mum to come over, you wont feel up to looking after 2 young children on your own, how does your oldest get home from nursery.

Paracetamol and ibuprofen as above (unless it's cocodamol which already has paracetamol in
Pacing around can help, just gently moving
Or a shower and put the hot water directed at your stomach

@BlanketsBanned my sisters partner picked him up as we swap I do morning runs , iv managed for my sister to have my eldest . Just not my youngest and she had 3 kids already under the age of 3

I keep throwing up too I don't no if it's from the codine I normally can take them fine

I'm a lot better thankyou. I'm still in pain but definitely not as bad as it was , I think iv gotten through the worse bit . Jumped in the bath twice which seemed to help a lot x
