One red mark on face that won’t go

I have a video call with a doctor on Thursday but I was wondering/hoping for reassurance.

I have a very small light red mark on my cheek, it is very slightly raised off my skin and is in the middle of quite a red patch of skin on my face. It doesn’t seem to have any ‘head’ to it. Doesn’t hurt, doesn’t do anything.

It is not hugely noticeable and covers with make up and is perfectly in line with my glasses rim so hard to tell from photos how long I’ve had it but I think it appeared when pregnant so over two years ago. I didn’t think anything of it but now I’ve read in an article that stuff like this could be cancer and I can’t seem to calm down. Does anyone have anything similar?

I often get red marks that look similar to love bites. I gave one on my head right now. I’ve been getting them for years. They don’t hurt, itch or irritate other than the fact I can see it in a mirror and it could look like I’ve been punched in the head.
it could be a a number of things. Cancer is usually the less likely. I think if your really worried just wait to see what your doctor says.
