I've name changed for this. Long time poster. Dh is now going into week 5 of having face Numbness & constant headache on right side. Drs & hospital have ruled out Bells Palsy (he does have a slight droop but I'd say it looks more like swelling) full bloods done twice everything has come back clear MRI showed sinus infection but that's since cleared. He is on a mountain of pain killers and and had several antibiotics - nothing had worked. He can't sleep and is in the depths of depression now. Don't know where to go next drs, A&E staff and ENT staff scratching their heads not knowing what it is or how to treat it.

So anyone have anything similar, any ideas???? Thinking of sending him to an acupuncturist to see if that helps but it's just head wrecking

I’ve had face numbness and a headache that isn’t touched by painkillers as a long covid symptom. I take duloxetine (an antidepressant also used for threading neuropathic pain associated with fibromyalgia) and it helps control it - I only occasionally get pain/numbness now.
