Bleeding + Itchy

Hi, name changed for this.

A couple of weeks ago i had a small amount of blood when wiping after going for a poo. Then i had my period, so obv couldn't tell where blood was coming from.

Last night my bum tmi hole started to itch, this morning i had a poo and there was red blood on wiping and then i had another poo and nothing on the paper of that one. Bum still feels bit itchy / irritated.

Could it be piles ? I have had them a few times in the past but not ever had blood on wiping.

Going to get some suppositories today.

Sounds very much like piles, but it's always worth getting it checked out by your GP. Obviously, do what you can to encourage softer stools in terms of lots of fluids, diet, and exercise. Hope you get some relief soon, the itching can be horrendous.

Totally agree with above comment. The GP can do a poo test called "FIT" to put your mind at ease too. Germaloid works very well for piles, IMO.

Thank you, I've been using suppositories the last couple of days as I am sure it's piles... no blood for the last two days so fingers crossed but if it returns I will go docs. Thank you
